currently I run 2 MT4 platforms with both 2 ea’s on one laptop (dual core T9400 2.5MHz with 8GB DDR31066) which is about as much as it can handle Thanks
Hello,
The best way to handle this is with a VPS (virtual private server). You set up the platforms on the vps, add the ea’s and it is constantly hooked up to the internet. This way you don’t have to have everything on your computer and keep it running all the time.
With the quantity of ea’s I’m testing and using on live accounts, I actually use 2 VPS’s. On one vps I have the live trading accounts, and on the other I have demo accounts testing robots. The vps service i use is called Commercial Network Services, and they are very good.
I would not recommend running things off your computer, as it is going to eat up all your resources and you’ll have to keep your computer running all the time. If you have a power outage or interruption in your internet service, this can really screw up your trading.

By the way, if you join DDSMM they have a vps option. They will even help you set everything up if you are not comfortable doing so.
